The European Foundation for Quality in eLearning (EFQUEL) is a membership organisation which is based in Brussels, Belgium. It is a network with over 80 member organisations from Europe and beyond such as other networks, universities, corporations and national agencies.
The Foundation serves as sustainable and proactive network and provides valuable services to the worldwide eLearning community.

EFQUEL provides support, transparency, open participation and leadership for a broad range of topics. The purpose of the foundation is to involve actors in a European community of users and experts to share experiences on how eLearning can be used to strengthen individual, organisational, local and regional development, digital and learning literacy, and promote social cohesion.

Annual General Meeting 2010 PDF E-mail
This year's Annual General Meeting of EFQUEL's members took place on the 8th of September in Oeiras, Portugal. 21 members of EFQUEL were present and eligible to vote. The meeting was live streamed in the secured area for EFQUEL's members on this website. Thus, the participation via distance was possible.
