EABIS workshop, hosted and co-organised by Fondazione ISTUD
The objective is to bring together managers and academics to discuss how multinational companies handle organisational transformation oriented to CR and Sustainability and how executive education can play a supporting role in this change process.
This event should be seen as the first of a series of EABIS initiatives on executive development. Specifically, the event is a stepping stone to a high-level meeting in Spring 2010 for Chief Learning Officers and Deans on the future of Executive Education and new models of business-academic collaboration.
Please visit the ISTUD website for full event details, including programme and registration.
When: November 2nd (evening/welcome dinner) and 3rd November 2009 (until 16.00)
Where: Lake Maggiore, Stresa, Italy
Programme: The workshop is designed to provide an informal and productive forum for discussing, sharing and promoting knowledge on mainstreaming CR. This is being done through case studies, working groups and interactive plenary discussions.
Who should attend:
Attendees will be EABIS members who come from both the academic and business communities from around Europe, allowing a useful exchange of ideas and experience from both the “supply” and “demand” side of Executive Education on this topic.
* Corporates: Human Resources / Learning, Heads of CSR/Sustainability, all of whom with a helicopter perspective of how the company goes about developing and implementing organisational learning and the related CR and sustainability agenda within the organisation
* Business schools: Executive Education Program Directors and Senior Faculty Staff Members actively engaged on CR and Sustainability topics
Why attend:
* For corporates to identify key issues, challenges and the possibility to exchange good practices regarding the organizational transformation processes on Leadership and Sustainability among peers and academia based on practical experiences
* To foster business-education dialogue on the role of executive education in supporting companies during the process of organisational transformation oriented to CR and Sustainability
* To discuss concrete cases of training and education programmes highlighting limits and strengths of existing approaches
* Gain insights into the decision-making process around the topic that will allow both the business and academic community to serve as more effective partners as they work to develop and improve CR programmes, either from a “supplier” or “buyer” perspective
This project is part of the EABIS corporate funded programme sponsored by Corporate Founding Partners IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Shell and Unilever.
